Our scope
Children’s home
Recognizing the plight of orphans and other vulnerable children in the community, “a home away from home” was created” to make them realize their worth to hold a future.
This habitat nurtures especially children whose families have been affected by HIV/AIDS and COVID19, as well as special needs children.
Kindergarten
There are three pre-school levels:
– baby class
– middle class
– top class
School
The school welcomes children from the age of 3 to 8.
Primary school
There are, for now, two primary school levels:
– primary one
– primary two
Every school day, the children gather for a morning circle where they sing in movements and recite verses in chorus. They practice introducing themselves, naming the date, body parts and numbers, reciting the ABCs and much more. Each of the groups then goes to their classroom and the writing lessons start. Mid-morning, the children have a porridge cup for breakfast.
The four schoolteachers are committed to nurture, foster, and educate the children through their journey.
